There are no firm plans for a future North Pole Bike Extreme race.

In the event of one taking place:
Participants will be flown by Antonov jet from Spitsbergen, Norway to a North Pole camp. They will be given a mountain bike to keep; hotel accommodation at the departure point; heated tents while at the Pole; entry to the race; helicopter flights in the polar region; medals and souvenirs; professional photos of each competitor in action; a DVD of the race; and hotel accommodation on return from the Pole.
